All About Me: Brandon Moon

Welcome

Hi, I'm Brandon. This site is a simple home on the web where I share a bit about who I am, what I studied, and the things I enjoy outside of work.

Education

I graduated from Texas A&M University in December 2023 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. My coursework covered software development, systems, and engineering fundamentals — and several classes pushed me to build real projects with a team from start to finish. Along the way I worked with languages like Python, C++, and JavaScript, plus databases and web technologies that I still use today.

College Projects

One of the highlights of my time at A&M was a senior software engineering project (CSCE 315) where my team and I built a full point-of-sale system for Cabo Grill using the PERN stack (PostgreSQL, Express, React, and Node.js).

• Designed a clerk-facing interface for taking and processing customer orders
• Built a manager dashboard with real-time inventory tracking for ingredients and restocking decisions
• Created a customer-facing page with accessibility and inclusivity in mind, using visual cues and an intuitive layout
